Can I use ChatGPT to write a condition (dilapidation) report?
- You can draft one from your notes and photos, and many do. The catch: the draft is only as good as the notes, producing them is most of the work, and nothing is cited to the evidence. Sully removes the note-taking and cites every line. You still write and sign the report.
Does Sully use ChatGPT under the hood?
- No. Every AI step in Sully runs on Google’s Gemini models through Vertex AI, whose terms bar Google from training on your walks. Every walk is workspace-isolated and stored in Australia. What differs is what the model is given: the whole narrated walk.
Is Sully just a wrapper around a chatbot?
- No. The hard part is getting the walk into evidence that can be reasoned over and cited, not the prose. Sully is a capture app, a record and a scribe. Chat is one way of asking the record a question.
